Adilang Vocation Training Intitute has taken a significant step towards environmental sustainability by installing a biogas plant as part of its new kitchen project. This innovative initiative leverages the power of renewable energy to reduce the school’s carbon footprint and promote a cleaner, healthier environment.
The biogas plant utilizes cow dung as a primary feedstock, harnessing the natural decomposition process to produce methane gas. This methane gas is then piped directly to the school’s kitchen, providing a reliable and sustainable fuel source for cooking and heating.
By implementing this biogas plant, AVTI is demonstrating its commitment to responsible resource management and environmental stewardship. This project not only contributes to a cleaner and healthier community but also serves as an educational tool for us students, highlighting the importance of renewable energy and sustainable practices.
